Ecology Day is the biggest initiative – and the only one – entirely dedicated to Ecology. The main goal of the day is to bridge the gap between academia and society. As we communicate and show the work of our scientists the closer we get to have a more aware society on the role of ecologists to solve environmental problems we face today. Furthermore, an aware society turn to be a more sustainable one and open to new economic policies.
This year, the Ecology Day will be celebrated between 13 and 17 of September. All Ecological Societies are invited to participate organizing an activity during these days. You can submit you activity here.
